Sam's been an active real estate investor since 2005, with 14 properties and more than 30 rental doors along the way. He specializes in homes with legal suites, whether as straight rental properties or house hacks for people who actually want to live in them. Helping both of his sons become investors themselves is one of the things he's proudest of in this business.

Originally from Badger's Quay, a small fishing community on the northeast coast of Newfoundland, Sam grew up learning the value of hard work, honesty, and helping others. His dad was the local handyman, and Sam was right there with him from a young age.

Sam has lived in Calgary since 1997. With a 30-year career in engineering as a Naval Architect, working on projects across Canada, the U.S., and Norway, that background shaped the calm, steady, problem-solving approach clients see in him today.

Family has always been a priority for Sam and his wife, a junior high teacher. When he's not working with clients, you'll find him camping with family and friends.
