Originally from Badger's Quay, Sam grew up in a small fishing town on the northeast coast of Newfoundland. His dad was the local handyman, and Sam was his go-to-sidekick. At an early age, he developed a passion for building and fixing things that eventually turned into skills that he used on many renovation projects within Calgary and its surrounding areas. Sam has been a real estate investor since 2005, specializing in buy and hold properties, many of which have focused on legal secondary suited properties. Educated as a Naval Architect, he has had the opportunity to work at many shipyards in Norway, USA, and Canada. However, most of his 30-year working career has been in Calgary, designing for engineering companies specializing in oil and gas projects. Family values, and spending time with his two boys have always been a priority for Sam and his wife, a junior high school teacher. Over the past 25 years, countless hours were spent driving to hockey rinks where his boys played competitive hockey. When Sam is not busy helping his clients find their next investment, renovation, or dream home he can be found camping with his friends and family! He has continued to be the go-to man for his family and extends this to his clients now!
