Meet Sam Pond.

Originally from Badger's Quay, Sam grew up in a small fishing town on the northeast coast of Newfoundland.
His dad was the local handyman, and Sam was his go-to-sidekick. At an early age, he developed a passion for building and fixing things that eventually turned into skills that he used on many renovation projects within Calgary and its surrounding areas.
Sam has been a real estate investor for over 16 years, specializing in buy and hold properties, many of which have focused on legal secondary suited properties.
Educated as a Naval Architect, he has had the opportunity to work at many shipyards in Norway, USA, and Canada. However, most of his 30-year working career has been in Calgary, designing for engineering companies specializing in oil and gas projects.
Family values, and spending time with his two boys have always been a priority for Sam and his wife, a junior high school teacher. Over the past 25 years, countless hours were spent driving to hockey rinks where his boys played competitive hockey.
When Sam is not busy helping his clients find their next investment, renovation, or dream home he can be found camping with his friends and family! He has continued to be the go-to man for his family and extends this to his clients now!

- Sam was amazing to work with! He helped us get our home ready to sell and priced it perfectly! It sold right away. He made the whole process so easy and stress free. Sam also helped us find our new forever home, and we couldn’t be happier. He’s professional, friendly, and truly goes above and beyond for his clients. Highly recommend!Jen Maher
- We met Sam at one of the many open houses we toured early in the year before making the final decision to move forward with buying a new house and selling our current one. After just a short conversation both my partner and I knew he was going to be good fit for us. Sam's extensive experience as a home owner and landlord of several properties was incredibly valuable as we navigated selling and purchasing our new home. He gave us insight on what was worth doing prior to listing in our current property given the current market conditions. Although the market softened while our home was listed Sam was proactive in keeping our property in buyer's minds and staying in touch with interested buyer's agents as we did a couple small price decreases. This ultimately led to a sale that we were very happy with. As for supporting us through the purchase of a new home, Sam was amazing. We had looked extensively at open houses in our desired areas for over 2 years and had a solid idea of what we wanted. When we found a couple places that fit our list Sam booked showings for us right away so that we could assess with his expertise. He came prepared with comparable homes every and provided clarity on if the homes we liked were priced appropriately. When we finally put an offer in Sam had good suggestions for conditions that left us feeling very comfortable with the purchase. The home inspection was very helpful and Sam went through the report with us and took some of the items back to the seller, they agreed to address some of the minor issues with the home and Sam negotiated a credit for a couple of the other items. We have been in the new place for just over a month and it was totally the right move for us and we are so thankful for the guidance Sam provided to the process.Leatina Wood
